Our Journey

LitBits was born out of the vision of Dax Brooks and Jabari Gray, lifelong friends and business partners, who founded POWR (Perspective Optimized for World Readiness) in 2019. Their journey began with deep conversations about legacy and the desire to leave the world with something truly meaningful. They realized that personal fulfillment is often tied to opportunity, which is closely linked to financial security. However, they also understood that achieving financial security starts with understanding the economy and one’s role within it. LitBits was created as a practical extension of POWR's mission—to empower individuals with financial literacy, helping them unlock opportunities, achieve stability, and ultimately live more fulfilling lives.

Board Members

POWR is proudly helmed and advised by distinguished nonprofit and private industry leaders who currently donate their time and money to propel the work, each arriving from a unique vantage point in the fight to reduce economic and racial disparities.
